Second-Round Housing Application Period: Apply Between May 10-27

To our Confirmed Undergraduate & Graduate Students:
Second-Round Housing Application Period: Apply Between May 10-27


If you're a residential student, don't forget to apply for housing to stay on-campus this Summer Quarter. If you have not already applied for housing, the Second-Round application period begins Friday, May 10 and will continue through Monday, May 27. While housing is no longer guaranteed at this stage, Stanford Summer Session students will have a high priority for room assignments. Please refer to the Stanford Summer Housing website for more information.

Former Stanford Summer Session Residential Staff Member Receives Deans' Awards for Academic Achievement

Ten undergraduates recently received the 2013 Deans' Awards for Academic Achievement, which honor extraordinary undergraduate students for "exceptional, tangible" intellectual achievements. Anna Ntiriwah-Asare, one of our former Summer Quarter residential staff members made us proud by receiving this award.

Former Stanford Summer Session undergraduate student, Ms. Wangui Wangui Kariuki, shares her experiences from Summer Quarter 2012:
 
Creativity, innovation, motivation, and dedication cannot be forced. These are intangible elements that are fostered by inspiration from open environments where people interact freely (encouraging individuals to achieve personal breakthroughs through exchanging ideas, and challenging one another). In my view, Stanford is a great example of this because I believe it is a hub of inspiration, excellence, and growth - comprised of both academic and social aspects in equal measure.
