Former Stanford Summer Session Residential Staff Member Receives Deans' Awards for Academic Achievement

Ten undergraduates recently received the 2013 Deans' Awards for Academic Achievement, which honor extraordinary undergraduate students for "exceptional, tangible" intellectual achievements. Anna Ntiriwah-Asare, one of our former Summer Quarter residential staff members made us proud by receiving this award.

Stanford SPCS Open House: Mark Your Calendars

Stanford Summer Session will be at the Stanford SPCS Open House Sunday, December 9 from 1-4 pm. Representatives from Stanford Summer Session will be available to speak about Stanford Summer Session and High School Summer College.

There will also be a host of other wonderful Stanford programs present. Students, parents, teachers, and counselors are welcome to join. The event is free and open to the public.

Economist Alvin Roth talks about his research, winning the Nobel Memorial Prize
October 15, 2012 

Nobel laureate Alvin Roth talks about his economic research and the surprise phone call from Stockholm telling him he had won the prize on Monday. At a press conference at Stanford that same day, Roth explained his application of game theory to real world problems, such as finding matches for kidney donors and helping schools and students find the right matches for each other.
