Beginning dance course that introduces rhythm, musicality, coordination, isolated movements, and choreography which has been popularized by the urban musical culture of the same name. Will focus primarily on a hip-hop style which encompasses jazz-funk, commercial/new style, and street dance. Giving students knowledge or urban dances by name and giving history of where these dances originated. Allowing constructive critique to encourage and inspire the students allowing them to communicate thru dance movement.
