Focuses on new trends and disruptive technologies in IT. Emphasis on the way technologies create a competitive edge and generate business value. Broad range of views presented by guest speakers, including top level executives of technology companies, and IT executives (e.g. CIOs) of Fortune 1000 companies. Special emphasis in technologies such as Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Security, Mobility and Big Data.

  • Limited enrollment. Students must enroll in Axess and fill out the additional application. 2016 application is available here.
  • Students who enroll in MS&E 238 must take the course for 3 units. Students who enroll in MS&E 238A must take the course for 1 unit. The 1 unit option does not require homework or the final project.
  • The 3 unit version of this¬†course, MS&E 238, is offered as part of the Summer Intensive in Technology & Innovation, and qualifies toward the Certificate of Completion in Technology & Innovation. MS&E 238A¬†enrollments will not qualify toward the Certificate.
