Upload your Stanford ID card photo

Dear Summer Session Student,

As of June 1, you have not submitted your Stanford ID card photo. It is very important for you to have your Stanford ID card ready for your arrival at Stanford because it serves as an identification card and as an electronic key. Without this ID card, you cannot enter residence halls, dining halls, libraries, or athletic facilities. You also won’t be able to obtain a Stanford bookstore discount.

The ID card photo deadline was May 31. We may still have your ID card available for pickup during check-in if you upload your photo as soon as possible.

If you have uploaded an ID card photo between the deadline and today then you can ignore this message.

How to Upload Your Stanford ID Card Photo

  1. If you haven’t done so already, create your SUNet ID and password, and wait 24 hours before completing step 2.
  2. Go to the Stanford ID Card Photo Submission website, and log in using your SUNet ID and password.

Please take special note of the instructions provided at this site, including the detail describing browser capability. The upload will not work if you use an unsupported browser.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Students cannot get their photos taken for their Stanford ID card on-campus. If your ID card is not available at check-in you still must upload your photo online. You can then pick up your ID card on Monday, June 20 at the Student Services Center.

Picking Up Your ID Card

All students must show proof of identification by providing a government-issued photo ID (U.S. Driver’s License or passport) in order to pick up their Stanford ID card. Please be ready to present identification when picking up an ID at check-in or at the Student Services Center.

Sincerely,

Stanford Summer Session
