Complete Acceptance Process Deadline: Thursday, May 5
You have been offered admission to the Stanford Summer Session but your spot in the program is not confirmed. In order to confirm your attendance at Stanford this summer you will need to complete the acceptance process. The deadline to accept the offer of admission, pay a visa processing fee, and upload required documents has been extended to May 5, 2016 at 9:00 pm PDT*.
To check your outstanding requirements, log in to your Application Status Page.
International students are required to have a visa appropriate for international study. Only after you accept the offer of admission and upload all required documents will an I-20 be generated and a Stanford ID number issued. After you receive a Stanford ID you will create a SUNet ID and then wait 24 hours before using your SUNet ID to apply for housing and register for courses.
As you can see, there are many steps involved in this process and we are happy to help you through each one as quickly as possible. However, it’s important for you to know that some countries take much longer to issue F-1 Student Visas than others. Here’s a handy tool that will let you determine how much time it might take to schedule a visa appointment at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate near you.
To allow enough time to receive your I-20 and schedule your visa appointment, we require that the offer of admission is accepted and all required documents are uploaded by Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 9:00 pm PDT. If all steps are not completed by the deadline you will not be able to attend Summer Session 2016.
We hope to see you on campus this summer!
