Summer College Courses

The following courses are a subset of those offered as part of Stanford's summer quarter. Each class has been recommended by its respective department as suitable for advanced high school students. Still, it is important that you review any stated prerequisites to ensure that you meet the requirements for each course. This list is provided here for your convenience. Once you have been accepted into our program, you will register for classes using Axess — Stanford's online registration system. International students requiring visa documents from Stanford University must wait until they are physically on campus before registering for courses.

Session dates and times for courses are available in Axess under the Guest Menu. Course day, time, and units are subject to change. Courses are eight weeks long unless otherwise noted in the course description or details.

Unless otherwise specified, courses numbered from 1 through 99 are primarily for first- and second-year undergraduates; courses numbered from 100 through 199 are for third- and fourth-year undergraduates; and those from 200 through 699 are for graduate students. Preliminary partial listing: additional courses may be added.
