Housing Check-In Instructions for Residential Students

Undergraduate Students

After checking in and receiving your Stanford ID card, you will then be able to obtain your housing assignment and key at another tent in front of the Governor’s Corner Housing Front Desk. Once you obtain your housing assignment and key, there will be a number of guides in the area who can direct you in the right direction of your residence.

Graduate Students

Residential graduate students have two check-in locations to 1) pick up their Stanford ID card and 2) retrieve their housing key.

Due to the locations of the graduate residences, we will not have housing keys available at the Governor’s Corner Housing Front Desk where you will pick up your Stanford ID card. Instead, we will have a Summer Session vehicle available to take you to your designated Housing Check-In location in order to receive your housing key.

After checking in and receiving your Stanford ID card, you will additionally be handed an orange shuttle pass that you will need to provide to the Summer Session van driver in order to be taken to your assigned Housing Check-In location. Since we are accommodating a high volume of graduate residential students our shuttles need to accommodate, shuttles will only be used to transport graduate students to their designated Housing Check-In location (and residence for Oak Creek and Lyman residents) following a pre-determined route. No additional routes or stops will be taken. Please refer to the Marguerite Shuttle for more stops or routes.
