This class is for non-swimmers. In this class you will learn how to relax in the water, breathe effectively, float and tread, swim 3 different strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke), jump in the water from the deck, use swimming equipment (kickboards, pull buoys, fins) and swim across a 25 yard pool.
PE 128 or prior experience
- Class max size is 12. If you are interested in registering for this class, please attend the first day of class. The instructor will give you a permission number after you complete a swim test. This will ensure that you are in the appropriate class level.
