Students will learn how to properly prepare, condition and pace themselves throughout a variety of workouts such as tempo runs, easy runs, interval training (speed and hills) and other training methods. At the end of the quarter, students will have the tools to develop their own training programs. Students will also gain knowledge on how to make intelligent choices that contribute to a healthy active lifestyle.

Students should be able to run continuously for at least 1 mile.
