Course Description

World politics is often described as a state of war. Yet, the relations between states appear, for the most part, peaceful.This course explores how international organizations, law and norms promote cooperation and help states resolve conflicts peacefully. Students will apply theoretical and empirical findings to design solutions to contemporary global challenges.
