Grades and Transcripts

Dear Summer Session Student,

As you close week 7, we want to update you on the process for online course evaluations, and how to view grades and order transcripts. Please read the following sections carefully for instructions.

Online Course Evaluations Due: Monday, August 17, at 8 a.m.

Online course evaluations are now open and are due by August 17 at 8 a.m. Log in to Axess, and click on the “Course and Section Evaluations” link in the “Quick Links” menu under the Student tab. Your grades will be available in Axess by 10 a.m. on the morning after you complete your course evaluation (provided your instructor has entered the grade). Students who do not submit a course evaluation will have to wait until August 20 to receive their grade.

More information on the Online Course Evaluation process, including Frequently Asked Questions, is available on the University Registrar website.

Viewing Grades and Ordering Transcripts

Grades will be posted in Axess by August 20. To view grades, log in to Axess and click on the Student tab. Under the “Academics” header, click on “View Course History” which will display your schedule, including the grade received for each course.

Transcripts may be ordered as soon as all grades have been posted (they are not automatically sent to students). Students may request a transcript in Axess or via paper form – see the Transcripts webpage for instructions. Please note there is no time limit to when a student can order a transcript (students have the ability to log in to Axess for 5 years, or use the paper form once this time has passed). Remember, a student’s bill must be paid in full before the University will release a transcript (see below).

Monitor Your University Bill

Please be sure to review your current invoice in Axess. Occasionally small fees, such as lab fees, late departure, re-keying, residence hall damage, housing cancellation, dining plan changes, or lost ID card charges may be added to your account at the end of the Summer Quarter. For payment instructions, refer to the Student Financial Services website.

Sincerely,

Stanford Summer Session
