We are currently in the Late Application Period, but it’s not too late to be a part of Stanford Summer 2016!

Housing applications and course enrollment are now open

Will you live on campus at Stanford this summer? If so, it’s important to begin and submit your Summer Session application as soon as possible. The housing application is now open. Priority will be given to students that apply by May 3 for undergraduate students and May 5 for graduate students. Only confirmed students with a Stanford ID number will be eligible to apply for housing.

Do you have a class in mind that you really want to take during your summer at Stanford? Course enrollment is also open, and only confirmed students are able to enroll in courses for the summer. Read below to get a taste of some of the courses and programs we are offering to students.

Intensify your summer

Participate in one of the eight Intensive Studies programs we are offering, such as the Human Rights Intensive and Water Management Intensive. Upon successful completion of an Intensive, you will earn a Certificate of Completion from the Summer Session office.

Here are a few course highlights from two of our Intensive Studies programs:

Human Rights Intensive

  • INTNLREL 140A – International Law and International Relations (4 units)
  • INTNLREL 145 – Genocide and Humanitarian Intervention (4 units)
  • COMPLIT 57 – Human Rights and World Literature (5 units)

Water Management Intensive

  • CEE 70 – Environmental Science and Technology (3 units)
  • CEE 107S/207S – Energy Resources: Fuels and Tools (3 units)
  • CEE 176G/276G – Sustainability Design Thinking (3 units)
