About Intensives

Take a curated selection of courses focused on a broad topic: 

  • Sustainability
  • Data Science
  • Writing and Communication

Attend a selection of events with your Intensive cohort as well as co-working sessions at our Summer Academic Resource Center (SARC) space. Intensive participants earn an official Document of Completion. Space is limited.

Document of Completion

To earn an Intensive Document of Completion, you must:

  • Enroll in and complete all of the required courses. Intensive qualifying courses must be taken for a letter grade and your final grade must be at least a B or higher.
  • Attend any one of our Stanford Voices Headline events
  • Attend your Intensive primary event

Technology and Innovation

**This Intensive is only open to visiting undergraduate and graduate students.

Dive into the world of technology and innovation—from artificial intelligence to the unique-to-Stanford intersection of computing, cognition, and psychology.

Data Science

Explore the fundamentals of data science and how to solve problems with data.

Writing and Communication

**This Intensive is only open to visiting undergraduate and graduate students.
