June 21 (Mon) First day of quarter; instruction begins.
June 21 (Mon) First summer quarter bill posted. University billing occurs monthly. All tuition and fees charged between billing cycles are grouped and displayed in Stanford ePay.
June 21 (Mon, 5:00 p.m.) Preliminary Study List deadline. Students must be enrolled in at least one course by this deadline.
June 21 (Mon) Deadline to submit Annulment of Summer Registration for full refund of charges on your University account. The enrollment deposit is non-refundable. See Tuition and Refund Schedule for a full refund schedule.
June 25 (Fri, 5:00 p.m.) Final Study List deadline. Final day to add or drop a class; no drops are permitted after this point. Last day for tuition reassessment for dropped courses or units. Students may withdraw from a course until the Course Withdrawal deadline and a 'W' notation will appear on the transcript.
July 4 (Sun) USA Independence Day.
July 5 (Mon) USA Independence Day celebrated (holiday, no classes).
July 15 (Thur) First summer quarter bill due.
July 20 (Tue) Final summer quarter bill posted.
July 23 (Fri, 5:00 p.m.) Term withdrawal deadline; last day to submit Annulment of Summer Registration to withdraw from the University with a partial refund.
July 30 (Fri, 5:00 p.m.) Change of grading basis deadline.
July 30 (Fri, 5:00 p.m.) Course withdrawal deadline. Students who withdraw from a course prior to this deadline receive a 'W' notation on the transcript. Students who withdraw after this date will receive a grade for the course.
August 7-12 (Sat-Thu) End-Quarter Period.
August 12 (Thu) Last day of classes.
August 12 (Thu) Last opportunity to arrange Incomplete in a course, at last class.
August 13-14 (Fri-Sat) End-Quarter examinations.*
