What to Expect
Welcome Summer Session Students!
- Check-In and Orientation Sessions (guests welcome): June 24, 2023
- Kick-Off Programming and Community Building (students only): June 25, 2023
- Courses Begin and Student Services Center Check-In for Late Arrivals: June 26, 2023
We invite family, guardians, and guests to accompany students to the first day of Welcome Weekend, Saturday, June 24. Check-In will open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. Welcome events for students and guests will be held throughout the day. Residential students should plan to say their goodbyes in the late afternoon, so that students can join their new community for dinner.

Checking In
- Arrive to Roble Field
- Start at Health Check-In to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 24 hours of your arrival on campus.
- Students will proceed to Student Check-In while Guests move to Family Check-In. (If you are a residential student arriving after 4pm on June 24, either planned or a change in plans, you will need to notify us on the Arrival Form so that we can prepare to receive you.) Be ready to show a Passport, US Driver’s license / State ID card, or a Birth Certificate plus a photo ID (ex. current school ID card).

Family Registration
Registration will be required for all family members or guests accompanying their student to Welcome Weekend. Each student may bring up to four (4) guests. Students may access the family/guest registration form on their application status page. Log in using your application email and password.
Masking Policy
Masks will be required for students and family/guests for all crowded indoor activities during the first week of the program, including Welcome Weekend. Student check-in, dorm move-in, orientations, and info sessions may be indoors

Parking
Free parking for the day is provided in the Roble Field Garage, located underneath the field. Students/guests parking in the garage should leave luggage securely stowed (out of sight) in the car. The garage entrance is off of Via Ortega.
Other Transportation to Campus
For general information about traveling to campus on public transit please visit the Stanford Transportation Transit page. Ride share services will be directed to drop off at Panama Mall, which runs between Via Ortega and Roble Gym.
On-Campus Transportation
Special Welcome Weekend Marguerite Shuttles will be stopping at select locations around campus from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
