How will you transform yourself this Summer? Stanford’s Summer Session is the fourth academic quarter at Stanford University, one of the world’s premier institutions of higher education. A variety of student groups take advantage of courses offered each summer, including current Stanford students, undergraduate and graduate students from outside the University, and students admitted through High School Summer College. The Summer Quarter provides an opportunity for students to grow as scholars and individuals. By balancing challenging academics with a rich menu of educational and social activities, students will have a learning experience that's truly transformative.

Commuting Option: Summer College applications for our commuting option are still open, and we will continue to accept and process new applications through June 10, 2013.
Residential Option: We are no longer accepting new applications for the High School Summer College. Students who have an application in progress will be able to continue working through completion until June 5. Space is extremely limited, and we will begin accepting students to a wait list in the immediate future.
If you're a residential undergraduate or graduate student from another university, don't forget to apply for housing to stay on-campus this Summer Quarter. If you have not already applied for housing, the Second-Round application period begins Friday, May 10 and will continue through Monday, May 27. While housing is no longer guaranteed at this stage, Stanford Summer Session students will have a high priority for room assignments. Please refer to the Stanford Summer Housing website for more information.
Students must have been issued a Stanford ID number and created their SUNet ID and password in order to apply for housing in Axess. Instructions for how to apply are available in the "Important Documents to Read" section in confirmed students' Summer Session online accounts.
