Campus Resources

As a Stanford student for the summer, you'll have access to libraries, athletic facilities, health and wellness centers, and academic support from our very own Summer Academic Resource Center (SARC).

Libraries

There are 20+ libraries available to you, with print and digital collections, access to more than 1,000 licensed databases and a variety of study spaces. Which will be your favorite?

Athletic Facilities

Stanford athletic facilities include gyms; studios; swimming pools; tennis, handball, squash, basketball, and sand volleyball courts; our golf course; and several sports fields. Stanford’s location also gives students access to hiking, bicycling, and running.

Academic Support

Summer Session provides academic support every step of the way, from pre-summer through final exams. Our Summer Academic Resource Center (SARC) offers Academic Advising, Tutoring, and Workshops to ensure you won't be going it alone.

Health and Wellness Centers

Vaden Health Center

Vaden Health Center is Stanford’s campus health care clinic. Within the center, there are many branches including Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), an X-ray clinic, a physical therapy center, and an allergy, immunization, and injection clinic.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

CAPS provides individual and group psychological counseling. You are eligible for a free initial evaluation or short-term counseling. CAPS cannot provide long-term counseling. Confidentiality is strictly maintained.

Confidential Support Team (CST)

The CST offers emotional support, consultation and short-term individual counseling to Stanford students impacted by sexual assault and relationship violence. CST is staffed by a team of trained psychologists and social workers specializing in trauma-informed services for students. At CST students can receive information and guidance about their rights and reporting options. Confidentiality is strictly maintained. There is no charge for CST services.

Arts and Culture

With two (free) museums, a concert hall, and an amphitheater, there's no shortage of access to the arts on campus.

"The surroundings make us want to study."

"What is special is the access to beautiful work places such as Green Library or outside places. The surroundings are beautiful and make us want to study."
