Deadline: International Students in need of I-20

International students requiring an I-20 from Stanford should apply by April 30.

Testing Guidance

When Should I test?

Stanford requires that any student who leaves campus overnight must self-administer a COVID-19 test upon their return, using a rapid test kit.

Students may reach out to a residential staff member in the event they aren’t feeling well. Summer Resident Assistants (SRAs) can help you as needed, and will provide guidance about testing or other medical support services.

Students who are experiencing COVID-like symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19 will be advised to self-administer a rapid test. Rapid tests will be available to students at the Arrillaga Family Dining Commons (AFDC) and Environmental Health & Safety Office (EH&S). Test kits may also be available within the lounges in each residence. Students who test positive for COVID-19 are required to report their results via the online tracking system in place during the summer, start masking immediately, and follow the isolation guidelines for their student group (high school, undergraduate, or graduate).

Picking up Rapid Test Kits

Each student can receive up to (4) rapid test kits at a time for a total of 8 kits per month.

At each pick up location, students will need their Stanford ID and cell phone. You’ll be asked to scan a QR code while in line, then display your pick-up authorization badge on your phone. Staff will check your badge before giving you the tests. If you don’t have a phone, a staff member will manually check your records to verify eligibility. Once you pick up your kits, your authorization badge will expire.
